Supplier Diversity

Supplier diversity is a business imperative at RTX, and part of our plan to advance diversity, equity and inclusion across our business units — Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon.

To develop innovative solutions for the complex challenges our customers face, we foster an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion that enables us to attract, retain and develop a diverse supply base.

We provide maximum practicable procurement opportunities for businesses that are:

  • small
  • women-owned
  • minority-owned
  • veteran-owned
  • disability-owned
  • service-disabled veteran-owned
  • small disadvantaged businesses
  • historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone)
  • lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+)-owned

We also seek to provide opportunities for historically black colleges, universities and minority institutions in the areas of technical, engineering and research services.

We address economic equality in our supply chain by evaluating and analyzing our supplier relationships. We are committed to a diverse supply base that reflects the demographics and values of our company, our customers and the communities in which we operate.

Begin or Update Your Registration

By submitting your information, you will be entered into our database. If we have an opportunity related to your submission, we will contact your organization for further information. Registering your diverse-owned business does not obligate RTX or your company to proceed with any transaction or business relationship, nor does it confer preferred supplier status.

Once registered, it is important that you keep your company’s profile and diversity certification current.

Begin the registration process by entering your company name below and clicking “Find My Company.” This facilitates the registration process in the event your company is already in the database.

Tier 2 Program

Welcome to the RTX Tier 2 Spend Reporting Tool.

RTX thanks you for participating in our supplier diversity efforts. We look forward to working with your company to drive economic empowerment and opportunity for our suppliers, customers and communities. The RTX Tier 2 Spend Reporting program reinforces our commitment to an innovative and inclusive procurement process.

Tier 2 Spend tracks the dollars our Tier 1 suppliers spend with small and diverse businesses. Tier 2 spend dollars can be measured in two ways: Direct and Indirect. We accept both.

Direct Spend
When suppliers engage diverse businesses directly on RTX contracts and report the amount paid to diverse suppliers, we consider this Direct Spend. Each 2nd tier dollar can be traced back to a specific diverse supplier.

Indirect Spend
Indirect Spend is calculated by prorating the supplier's company-wide diverse spend with the percentage of its total business represented by RTX. For example, if the supplier spends $100 million annually with diverse suppliers and RTX represents 1% of its total business, the 2nd tier spend would be $1 million ($100 million x 1%).

Our Tier 2 reporting system enables our suppliers to report their diverse spend on a quarterly basis.
